The global communications industry’s annual flagship event, MWC 2025, has successfully concluded. As a global one-stop supplier of IoT wireless connectivity modules, MinewSemi showcased its comprehensive range of wireless connectivity technologies, demonstrating its technical expertise in the IoT sector. The exhibition featured a variety of wireless connectivity modules, including low-power Bluetooth, GNSS, LoRa & LoRaWAN, Wi-Fi, UWB, millimeter-wave radar, and SparkLink. Additionally, live demonstrations of smart home applications highlighted MinewSemi’s technological innovation and ecosystem development.
Flagship Product Lineup: Technological Advancements Driving Industry Evolution
At this year’s event, MinewSemi introduced its ME54 series of Bluetooth Low Energy 6.0 modules based on Nordic’s nRF54 series SoCs. The ME54BS01, ME54BS0A, ME54BS11, ME54BS03, and ME54BS61 modules, built on the nRF54L series SoC, offer significant performance improvements over the nRF52 series. These modules provide options for PCB and IPEX antennas and a ultra-compact size option of just 6x6mm, along with a receiving sensitivity of -98dBm.
The nRF54L series SoC supports multiple protocols, including Bluetooth Mesh, Matter, Thread, and 2.4GHz proprietary protocols. It has also achieved PSA Level 3 certification for IoT security, ensuring robust protection for applications in smart homes, wearables, and more.
The ME54BS02 module, powered by Nordic’s nRF54H20 chip SoC, features multiple Arm Cortex-M33 processors and RISC-V co-processors. With dimensions of 16.5x12.0x2mm and 64 GPIOs, it offers a receiving sensitivity of -100dBm. The nRF54H20 SoC supports LE Audio, Bluetooth Mesh, Thread, and Matter, making it suitable for more complex applications.
Smart Home Demo: Scenario-Based Solutions Showcasing Real-World Applications
MinewSemi also presented a smart home application demo at the event. All embedded modules demonstrated seamless responsiveness at ultra-low power consumption, enabling local decision-making through voice activation and one-touch controls. This immersive experience allowed attendees to witness MinewSemi’s advanced wireless connectivity technologies in action.
The demo integrated the ME54BS01 Bluetooth LE module, supporting Matter over Thread, and the MS12SF1 low-power Wi-Fi module, supporting Matter over Wi-Fi. These modules are already being used in real-world smart home applications such as smart locks, switches, and sockets, significantly enhancing user experiences.
New GNSS Positioning Modules: Breakthroughs in High-Precision Location Tracking
Beyond smart home solutions, MinewSemi also showcased other innovative products in the wireless connectivity space.
The latest GNSS single-frequency multi-constellation positioning modules, including the ME3GGR31 (with integrated antenna) and ME31GR01 (standard precision), were on display. Leveraging multi-constellation high-precision positioning and anti-multipath interference technologies, these modules are ideal for accurate positioning in dense urban environments. They are well-suited for applications such as e-bike tracking, drone navigation, and smart logistics.
